Mother of incarcerated JKLF (R) chairman passes away | KNO

Srinagar, December 11 (KNO) : Mother of incarcerated JKLF ( R ) chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar passed away on Tuesday at her Suthra Shahi residence here after brief illness. Hundreds of people including resistance leaders and activists participated in her Nimaz-e-Jinaza. The deceased as per a statement issued to KNO was laid to rest at graveyard, Suthra Shahi. Meanwhile, JKLF ( R ) chief patron barrister Ab Majid Trambu ,Ad Ayoub Rathor and Wajahat Bashir Qureshi have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise. They also prayed for the deceased and expressing solidarity with the bereaved family. Condoling the demise, the JKLF (R) leaders in a joint statement said that sacrifices rendered by the deceased mother, was praiseworthy and exemplary and when Farooq Ahmad Dar was arrested repeatedly for his pro-freedom political activities, his mother always exhibited courage and patience to face the difficult situations. Expressing their solidarity and sympathy, Barrister, Rathor and Qureshi prayed for her heavenly abode and patience of the bereaved family.(KNO)
